How I Make Money Online... over and over again
I've been in Winnipeg for the past couple of weeks and in between taking care of some Lodge business I spent the best part of a day tutoring an old friend in the art of making money online. I've known Jim for about 15 years - he's a mechanic and travels north every few months to work on various pieces of heavy equipment. He is an avid car buff and rebuilds old cars in his spare time. This led him to join several internet communities who shared his passion which then led him to start his own website which led him to learning that some people could make money with a website which led him to start searching for methods in which to do so which led to him finding a blog that explained the process. In Jim's words "I spent 3 days reading the blog before bothering to see who the writer was - I clicked the about page and fell off my chair - it was YOU!"
This has happened frequently over the past year. I have tried to separate my Lodge business from my online business but more and more friends from the "real" world have been coming across this blog and while they don't know me by my online nick name (I got it years ago when I bar tended my way through University) they quickly put it together when they see the about page. Unfortunately this is something I was hoping to avoid. Let me explain.
I spent most of yesterday sitting in the airport waiting on plane delays (weather related) and finally took a peak at my mountain of emails that have accumulated over the last two weeks. As usual there were a few that I wish I had read in a timely fashion. (Court, Monika, Chanya, Frank - sorry, will be getting back to you today) The rest can be categorized as follows; people asking me to review their blog, people asking me to JV with them, people asking to advertise on this blog, people writing really nice comments about how my blog has helped them and not asking for anything (thank you all), people wanting to trade links, people asking to pay me to mentor them and of course the usual spam. There are also a fair number asking me why their blog isn't ranking well on Google without supplying me with all the pertinent info.
Having spent a day with Jim I learned a great deal. He reminded me of just how confusing this whole MMO biz is and gave me an appreciation of just what beginners are facing these days. I confess that I have lost touch with a beginners point of view as it has become a fairly easy game for me. Bruce who runs a work from home blog asked me on the Affiliate Academy forum a few weeks ago about this very issue;
Bruce's comment
You always make it sound simple but I am questioning what I am missing and probably others are missing as well or everyone would be succeeding like you are.
I worked hard and was seeing some real nice results up until about a month and a half ago. I was a happy camper as I was solidly on page one of Google for a handful of terms and getting more and more search traffic.
I've mentioned this before but now the bottom has come off and I am way down to the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th pages if at all for most of my terms. It started and has continued where I would take two steps back (in the rankings) and then one step back up. Over and over until I am where I am now. (talking about my main blog only here)
I have done nothing differently to my knowledge to start this downfall and so I am wondering how someone like you (or anyone) can have such spectacular success. I have now gotten out of AMA and deleted all my articles so that no more will be published but this all started way before that.
This is my big question: Is it the quality of your links? I have to think that your ability to get better links than most is a very important factor in your success. You write with the best of them but it seems that your SEO can only take you so far.
Bruce's comment has stuck with me and after working with Jim I've mulled this issue over a great deal.
Why does this seem so simple to me and not to others?
Put the coffee pot on and I will tell you all a story.
When I started online web 2.0 didn't exist. Social Media didn't exist. I started out knowing from day 1 that if you are going to make any money online you needed a steady stream of traffic and the only way to get that traffic is with Google.
I have never changed my position on this. Google is still and always has been the best source of traffic online. Social media showed up and everyone jumped on it because it is easy to get traffic using social means. The problem is that social traffic is sporadic, requires hours and hours of work to maintain and in the end it doesn't convert well into money. You have all heard this from me before but in spite of this almost everyone of you still chases it and this is your downfall.
I had several emails informing me of yet another list of "Top 100 Make Money Online Blogs" that doesn't have me included on the list. My readers like to rib me about such things and I must have a hundred emails asking why I am not on the former 45n5 list. The fact is that these lists are part of the problem - many of you are trying to get on these lists and that's because at the heart of the matter you are a blogger looking for recognition from other bloggers. You want to be the next Problogger and spend all your time trying to get attention from other bloggers thinking this is the road to making money. Well yes it is a road but you have no idea about just how much traffic you need from the social arena before any serious advertising offers show up.
Do you realize that most large advertisers won't even look at you if you aren't pulling in at least 250,000 unique visitors a month? Do you have any idea of how much traffic that is? That's 8300 visitors a day - every day. That's 350 visitors every hour or almost 6 visitors a minute - every minute of every hour of every day.
You think that stumbleupon or digg or making a top 100 list or commenting on blogs is going to get 6 visitors a minute to your site month in and month out? And now the harsh part (and I don't mean to insult) you think that your site is so unique and interesting that 250 thousand people will keep coming back to read it. Okay - so you realize that maybe you aren't the most talented and interesting writer so you resort to gimmicks like starting a Top 100 list in hopes that people will spread the word and maybe even use your Badge and send you links. Or you will run a contest. Or you will give away a free ebook to pad your RSS numbers. Or you will come up with any number of tricks or treats to get people to your site. And then they are gone...
Perhaps the hardest thing to realize is that you aren't talented enough to capture 250k of readers based on your writing alone. Let's face it - if you are an exceptional writer word will get out and you will eventually have thousands of followers without you having to chase them down. Think about that. If you need contests and lists to keep people coming back then maybe you aren't producing value that will do it naturally.
But Griz - social media gets me links.
Sure it does - for your name or blog name. All useless. Ranking in Google for your name won't get you traffic.
Yes many of you finally understand the power of keyword anchored backlinks but you are trying to get them using social media.
And that is your downfall. You are at heart a blogger and not an internet marketer. You want to rank on Google but wouldn't it be nice to combine that with becoming well known.
I spend zero time using social media - okay, I have stumbled a few friends blogs in the past and tried everything half assed just to see what the fuss was about but always toss these networks to the side.
I do one thing and one thing only - I study Google.
I experiment constantly while you guys are socializing. I don't read about SEO from others - I learn it first hand. I have developed a system that while changing as G changes still proves to be the most effective way to make money online with the least work involved.
The first rule I have is focus on the task at hand - making money. Toss your dreams of becoming famous out the window as it will simply sidetrack all your efforts.
Find a Niche
Yes I slap up hundreds of blogs to test the waters with but I do have a general system in place in order to find the best niches.
I always start with the goal of making money from Adsense. Why? Because it is the largest advertising network in the world. 5.5 billion in sales last quarter - 1.7 billion in profit. Google has a 67% share of search traffic and is by far the biggest source of traffic online. All the social media sites combined don't handle any where near the daily traffic that Google does.
If you want to make money online then go with who provides the most traffic and use the largest advertiser. In this case Google just happens to be both. A no brainer.
How I do It
I look for niches that can provide me with at least 1000 visitors a day. I didn't say keyword - I said niche.
I look for niches that have enough keywords to provide me with 1000 visitors a day.
I want a niche that lets me build keyword rank in ascending order from least competitive to highly competitive. (I will show you what I mean below)
I want a niche that is competitive.
I want a niche that has lots of Adsense advertisers.
I want a niche that allows me to write long rambling posts.
An Example
Make Money Online
Just for the hell of it let us pretend I could possibly dominate a niche dominated by such well known bloggers as Darren Rowse, Shoemoney, John Chow and the rest of the A-List. And just for a lark let us pretend I could do it using a free Blogger Blog that looks like crap. Why - well maybe if I did people might catch on that you don't need a fancy looking site like the experts claim and that you don't really have to spend money on hosting either. Yes - a bold claim I know. Some people might even figure out that nothing makes people click on Adsense ads better than an ugly site.
So if I was to take on this task how would I do it.
First off I would target a long tail keyword that contains all my shorter competitive keywords in the long tail.
I would use a variation of the long tail for my URL.
example
"How to Make Money Online for Beginners" - my long tail
makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com - my URL
or
"How to Learn Knitting for Beginners"
or
"How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies for Beginners"
These are all examples of killer long tails. Why? Because they contain "How to" and "Beginners" in them. One term "How to" is used by people looking for information. I use "Beginners" because people will notice it in the serp's and click on your site because they are likely beginners looking for info on "How to" do something. And they contain my prime and secondary keywords as well. Let me show you.
How to Make money Online for Beginners - least competitive. A Long Tail
How to Make Money Online - more competitive. A secondary keyword.
How to Make Money - very competitive. 50,000 searches. A secondary keyword.
Make Money Online - extremely competitive. 27,000 searches. A secondary keyword.
Make Money - really extremely competitive. - 200,000 searches. A secondary keyword.
Money - the big Kahuna - 3.3 million searches last month. The prime keyword.
This niche also allows for literally hundreds of related keywords that you can rank well for and though the traffic might not be much for any particular term they all add up.
Here is a list of some of them.

Btw - Statcounter is a huge site - millions of visitors. Notice how he monetizes his site? Notice how Technorati monetizes their site? Check out most of the big sites and ask yourself why they use Adsense to earn money? Because it pays better than anything else online...
So - that's how I would plan my site.
Next, while you folks start stumbling and digging and leaving comments to and fro, I get down to the task of building backlinks. Real backlinks. Backlinks that contain my keywords. Backlinks that are contained in posts on other sites. Not sidebar. Not in the do-follow comments. In the posts! And they don't just point to my home page - they vary to all my pages. And they don't just contain my main keyword or main keyword phrases - they contain terms like the list you just read on my stat counter page. They don't appear in bunches - they show up regularly, consistently and continuously.
This is a long slow process and it doesn't get me on those "Top 100" lists and Darren Rowse doesn't send me any link luv but I do start getting search traffic. A little at first when I rank number 1 for my long tail.

Then a little more traffic shows up as I rank well for more terms.

Then a few more terms...

Then a few of the more competitive terms...

The big Kahuna... well actually I don't rank at all for "Money". Yet... if it takes another year or two so be it - it will be worth it.
Now obviously no one in their right mind would set out to take on a competitive niche like Make Money Online using a free ugly blogger blog and hope to succeed against the likes of John Chow and company... ;-) but if you actually focused on what matters (think anchored keyword backlinks) and spent your time gathering up those links then maybe you could just possibly dominate a not so competitive niche. And maybe just maybe you would look at this as a business and do what it takes to get those anchored links. And maybe just maybe you would set aside instant gratification and console yourself to making a not so bad income from Adsense a few years down the road instead of looking for money today.
Then again what the hell do I know about dominating a niche - let alone a competitive one. Maybe I should try and use a wordpress blog to make money instead... come to think of it - why just use one blog to dominate a niche. There are ten spots on Google's page one listings. Imagine the traffic.

Btw - this site doesn't get 250k uniques a month - it only averages 3 visitors a minute so the advertisers aren't lining up yet. Well that's not quite true - I do get a few requests as it seems the advertisers don't just look for social blogs with huge readership - they seem to find me because I rank on top of the serp's. Go figure. The thing is they don't want to pay me what I earn with Adsense so I'm not much interested.

Now all facetiousness aside. I have gone through everything I do online in my posts over the past few years. Does it work? Yes it apparently does. I'm not famous but I do make money at this game which was the whole point in the first place. Would I rather be Darren Rowse? No. He works too hard. I don't.
and that brings me back to Jim and all those who want me to tutor them.
I don't want to.
I used to manage a large Resort hotel and Golf Course. I had 13 Board of Directors and several hundred staff - all of whom made it their purpose in life to bother me. I made lots of money and hated every minute of it. I quit and bought a nice little Fishing Lodge in the middle of nowhere just so I could have some peace and quiet and not work for anyone else. I do what I want when I want and life is good. I started online just to while away my time and found it challenging. The internet was new (still is) and I wanted to see if I could make money on it. I succeeded beyond my expectations - well not really, I expect a lot but I have found my forte online and can duplicate it over and over.
Unlike the A-List and most of you I am not interested in selling you anything and this includes my time. Tutoring people for money means I am working for them and my time becomes their time. Not interested as quite frankly folks I don't need the money and don't want the responsibility of you not succeeding. I am more than happy to tell you all what I do for free and hope that a few of you catch on and succeed at this. Those of you who treat this as a business and spend your money and time wisely can do exactly what I have done. Those of you who just want to be bloggers will have a hard time gaining money or fame from your efforts as you tend to spend most of your time copying and following people that are selling something.
Learn the basics and you will find that everything else will follow. Get ranked on top of Google and you will find that not only do you make money but if your niche is a social one you will also gain readership, advertisers and hell maybe a little fame without ever having to waste time chasing it.
I'm not saying anything new here but I need to say it often as I get new readers every week who find my site while... yup, searching on Google. Invariably they write me and ask how to make money online. They don't want to read two years worth of posts and think I can send them back an answer in an email. I can't. If you are new here then start reading. Those of you who have been with me a while have another question - "How do we get those quality backlinks?". I have answered this privately on a few forums not available to the public. Most of you understand what I have told you but still don't know where to look. I have subtly left a trail in my sidebar and footer sections that will lead you to where you want to go. The lower they appear in my blog the least effective they are and that's as much as I will say about this in public. They will get you started but the most effective means is to get out there and contact the sites that can help you most. It is slow and tedious but that's how I have done it. One link at a time. I can be patient and wait a year or two to reap the rewards. Can you?
I hope this post doesn't come off badly as I do enjoy yakking with my readers but I have created a monster when it comes to emails and people looking for direct help. I simply can't get back to everyone - hell I can't even find the time to read all the mail never mind respond to it. In most cases your answers are already on this blog and you will have to look for them. Don't skip the comments - there is a goldmine of info in the comments and I will try and target the lesser asked questions in future posts. I feel a sense of guilt that this has become larger than I can handle and ask for your understanding if I don't get back to you.
Oh in response to not making those Top 100 lists - I'm on top of the only list that matters - Google's.
I suggest you get on top of Google's list as well and stop wasting time with anyone else's list.
Cheers
Griz

yes! you're a bad ass! i'm learning a lot here - seeing results, and hopefully soon - money... thanks always, man.
Grizz, as usual you are an inspiration that continues to grow. I am one of your followers that hasn't taken any action and I have been reading your blog for a year. After your post today I have decided it is time to try. I'm sure I will have failures. I am also sure that you have proven the only sure path. With my education from you I will succeed eventually. Your blogs are not ugly, your blogs are golden. It seems only fitting that you are paid by the people that don't see that. Congratulations Grizz! For all that you have done and continue to do, Thanks.

Eddie @ Elio
You are more than welcome. Elio if you've been with me a year then you know what I do works - you've seen this blog grow, how long it takes and how anyone can do it. Now it's time that you do it.
Thanks guys.
Newsflash...
Google bots don't see pretty
Google bots don't kiss ass
Grizz does make money
Grizz does kick ass
Nuff said...
Dave,
a Poet huh... Lol.
Nice to have you back Grizz. I'll admit to being guilty of following the social traffic craze. It was great for a quick spike of hits, but no one ever clicked, so the traffic wasn't much good. It got me indexed though, and once I started getting some keyword backlinks (mostly through forum posts and blog comments) I started seeing SE traffic. Traffic went down, but clicks went up and I made a little cash.
A coworker and I both started sites at the same time, and his is all social traffic. He gets WAY more visits than me, but his site literally makes pennies a week with AdSense. Meanwhile, my site is good for about $5-6/day. Not huge, but it's good enough to get me motivated. Lather, rinse, repeat right?
I really wanted to read the whole thing but it got a little lengthy for me. Send me a summary. Thanks
Great read. Every week I eagerly check you on my RSS to see if there are any new posts. Thanks for sharing the love.
Good advice as far as social media goes, it's a huge time sink. I only find it useful for getting my new sites indexed quickly. In addition to a couple other tricks- A quick post to digg, mixx, propel, and reddit usually does the trick.
I'm trying my best to use the craze to my advantage and set up a couple adsense social media sites myself in my niches. I've already got the contacts, might as well see if I can get the traffic.
I would seriously love to read what you have written in those private forums. If you catch my drift. I've asked in emails, but they get lost in the fold I think.
You have posted a lot of smart things in the months I've read your blog, but this post was brilliant ! I am quite curious as to how big G / Adsense will react to your long and filled with keyword post. Are they the right keywords ? Will you get a bigger diversity of traffic. I'll certainly stay tuned for the answers nect time !
Thank you :)
Screw being the next problogger, I want to be the next anonymous grizzly bear enjoying my coffee while checking adsense reports out in the wilderness.
BTW, how about a non money related post explaining how you get the nickname? Were you extra hairy or something? Did you maul people? Now I need to know.
It's so funny! Since some time ago, I can't watch a film about Grizzly bears without thinking of you. This is what can be called getting in your readers' top of mind. Who cares about "make money online" lists? I always thought their authors did a research before publishing. It seems they are just waiting for people to ask them to be included.
Wow...just wow. What a great post and a great reminder. I HATE the social stuff but since all you seem to hear about is Digging and Stumbling you start to wonder if you're missing the boat.
corker of a post griz - one of the best yet...
i'm gonna make a wordpress theme that is as ugly as this one :-)
Nice to see you back Griz,
I have been reading all your back posts and I can't believe how much information I have gleaned. You have completely changed my view of how to make money online.
I have already started changing my program and am making headway.
Thank you for all the help.
When you are talking about posts with your anchor text is it guest posting or your own blogs?
Griz,
You're on my top ten list - if that is any consolation. :-)
Griz, I've been following your blog and your advice on numerous adsense related issues. So far, everything has been working well. I'm working on the next level and that is building anchored text backlinks within actual posts, which is a work in progress.
My question is this. I've noticed you speaking breifly on AMA, and I'm wondering what your perspective on their service is. I'm going to assume that becuase you've got their banner high up on your side menu that you are big on them. Hoping that you can give us a better perspective on how AMA is working for you and what the advantages and disadvantages are using this service.
Thanks Griz
Your blog really inspires me cos it is simple yet can rank so well. That shows how well you SEO a simple and turn it into a goldmine.
I learned alot from this post. Honestly :)
How To Make Money Blogging As A Beginner
Hi Grizz,
If anything, this post just brought me back to earth. LOL.
Thanks.
Thanks for the link Griz. Things got better for me in the serps after that question as I was suddenly back on page one for several terms. Now I am slowly dropping back again. All I can say is LOL!
If I had it my way, I would just sit and email people and trade links all day. Set up site after site and start trading links - 3 way links if possible as you say. I have contacted a lot of people on that list on your other blog and I just wish there were more people to contact who have more blogs. And more people who really understand the value of trading links.
I now get excited when I see a new email in my inbox which is about trading links. That is because I know that the more of those I do the more progress is being made. I know that the more links I trade the more money I will ultimately make. That is now officially a fact in my head.
Great stuff. thanks a ton!
It seems my natural instinct, when it comes to blogging and making money online, is to do everything wrong.
Griz..the fact that you actually give us some real world advice in simple to understand language is more helpful that you probably realize.
Thanks
Griz,
I was checking every day to see when your next post was coming...I have ot admit, I am pretty addicted to your writing style, and honesty.
I even find myself laughing out loud when you say the things that we all know we need to do, yet so many of us don't.
I was just going to ask the Wookie about long tails, and you answered it here.
It's good to see you back, and it was great to read yet another long and agonizing post.
Got to go get some links now...
Matt2257
Great post! One of the best posts for a beginner ever!
Everyone always seems to be asking how do I choose a niche. That was about the best explained I've ever seen it explained.
Enjoy "hibernating" at the lodge. I know we are getting snowed under in my neck of the woods.
Once again, a masterpiece. I can honestly say that finding places to get those anchored links is the biggest challenge I'm facing. This post shed some serious light on how important this really is. I've been able to rank fairly well for many long-tail terms using mostly crappy links from dofollow blog comments and the like, but I'm just imagining how much better it will be when I start securing those "real deal" links. Right now my traffic is sporadic at best, and I've done about as much on-page optimization as possible, so it really is just a links game now. Thanks for helping to keep me focused on what's really important.
Grizz, just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to share. Your methods work, and I appreciate it!
Buddy, you just nailed a lot of crap in that post. It is fun as heck reading your blog. Are you as entertaining in person?
Grizz, in all the time I've been a reader of your blogs, you always keep suprising me with the large amount of info!
Thank you again
Hey, that was two pots of coffee... but worth it! Good rousing post Griz!
Now that I'm hyper caffeine fueled with strong Spanish coffee that you can stand your spoon up in, I reckon I'm in the mood to make more link fodder.
Terry
grizz,i have read some where that gaining too many backlinks in a short period, can make your site delisted from google ,is it tru...if so.....how many links ,sud i .get in a day without getting spammy.....
Aaron,
If you've got a blog making $5 a day then you should be able to squeeze it for more - keep adding new keywords to increase traffic.
As for rinse and repeat - exactly but don't forget to repeat in the same niche as you already have clout with the first blog.
Online Profiteer,
Sorry I have missed your emails - send a new one with Private Forum in the subject today and I will make sure I find it - everyone else interested do the same.
ITube,
Google will eat the post up - lots of content and if things go well I just added several names that I may rank well for in the near future...
Yogi,
I had a tendency to growl at the servers if they didn't pick their drink orders up fast enough - coupled with my last name "Brears" the tag kinda stuck.
Hi Simonne,
Hope all is well. Those Top 100 lists are little more than gimmicks - they will add everyone that asks in hope that everybody on the list will promote the page for the site owner and show up often to check their stats. It's a link grab and a way to inflate traffic without adding anything of value.
Julie,
The irony is that people are missing the boat (Google traffic) because they get so wrapped up in social media.
Peter,
I'm trying but it's hard to make WP as ugly as blogger! Lol.
Andy,
Guest posting would certainly work and building your own network, though a long term process, has huge benefits down the road. There are other ways though - working out "arrangements" with other site owners is the fastest method.
Neena,
You are a sweetheart - big hug for you!
Matt,
AMA... hmmm It has a few advantages but it is doomed unless it gets a much wider user base. I have it on top of the sidebar just to test the conversion rate. I will post about it soon but for now stay clear if you don't know how to use a service like this to your benefit.
Keith,
Are you sure you learned a lot or did you just want to add your link? Lol.
Costa,
You mean you had left? lol
Bruce,
Glad things are improving. I have been trying to get people to work together for a while now but it is slow going - there is a certain mind set in this niche that isn't conducive to helping each other out.
People use the social networks for traffic whereas they should be using them to exchange anchored links - if they did they wouldn't need to worry about traffic, G would take care of that.
Potato Chef,
Looks to me that you have a nice niche blog set up. Recipe sites can mine thousands of keywords if you do it right. (My best niche is quite similar to yours and it makes a killing with adsense)
Hi Mattt,
Glad you enjoyed it - happy link hunting.
Just found your site, you have some great content. It is true that you don't have a high-tech flashy blog, but you have more meat and potatoes than most. I will continue following along and using your tips. Thank you very much for providing excellent information without selling it as and informational product
I found a new site which is paying me for backlinks haha - they are a blog network so you have to be a little bit clever to make sure the links aren't too bloody obvious but Google seems to love the place - I have one blog doing trends for G traffic and a more social one in my mane niche. I figure the more backilnks the better anyway!
Medic,
I wish I could hibernate but I have some winter roads to build or no supplies for the year. Thanks for the kind words and enjoy the snow!
Pocket Aces,
There's nothing wrong with getting crappy links as they won't hurt but you can't dominate a high traffic niche with do-follow comments. Eventually you have to make inroads with the people who have the links that really count - it is tedious but the payoff is huge.
Larry,
Thanks. Glad you are getting something from all this - aside from sore eyes!lol
Emiel,
A Large amount? Ha. You should see my posts before I edit them down to a manageable length... one of these days I'm going to write one so long nobody makes it to the end!
Hey Terry,
We haven't yakked in ages - just to warn you - I have a backlog of people wanting on the private forum so don't be surprised.
I'll be sending you an email as soon as I get caught up.
Roadieguru,
Too many links in a short period can be a problem if they are crappy links. This isn't a problem if they come from authority sites though. Like everything with Google - keep things natural looking and you won't have a problem. If something looks fishy to you then it will look fishy to others. Just use common sense.
Marshall,
If you just found this blog then you don't know about my master plan - I am slowly sucking everyone in and then BAM! - I'm going to sell you all the most worthless piece of fluff ebook ever (and retire to a beach in Mexico). Always have a plan... lol.
Hi Lissie,
How is the world's hardest working blogger doing? You put me to shame Lissie - wish I had your drive.
Any chance you might want to send me an email and divulge your "network" to me. I will keep it to myself. No worries if you would rather stay tight lipped - I'm just worried you might be playing with something I've been burned with.
Always a pleasure having you stop in.
Another wicked post Grizz. And a straight up look into the guy behind the blog.
I used to be president of a frat in college and realized just like you did while managing the resort, that leadership skills and ability can be both a curse and a blessing.
it was crazy, frat brothers, faculty and even high level alumni members wanted a piece of my time. I was always on call, but it was fun and I met great people and had good experiences doing it.
Thanks for the info you give in this blog and more importantly thanks for your time.
Noob
This is a follow up to my earlier post. I was wondering why you mentioned Darren rowse and Pro blogger so much until I just read the comments about the names you want to rank for.
God damn you are devious !!!
I almost fell out my chair when I saw you actually linked to him, even tho it was anchored with his name Problogger and nothing really otherwise useful.
I lost faith for a second until I checked the link and saw that the link was no follow. Then my faith was restored again. LOL !!
Hope this post helps in your quest for ranking those names !!
Noob
Noob,
Hehe...
You are catching on Grasshopper! If you are going to post you may as well target some keywords that just may get traffic...
I too started getting into the whole social craze, and honestly it got me nowhere. The only ones I use now are stumble, twitter and Mixx. I am a member of the other places, but I rarely log on as I just don't have the time for them all! I have always hated "blog contests" because I feel that it's just getting you temporary subscribers. I sorta kinda entered a few in the beginning, but never held my own.
Right now, I only get a few clicks. and I make a couple of bucks, and as far as I'm concerned, if it pays for my web hosting - I'm happy! Will I ever be "big?" I doubt it. But at least I am having fun and NOT stressing (like I did when I first started. )
"My best niche is quite similar to yours and it makes a killing with adsense"
I hope you share that niche sometime in the future. You've got my attention until then.
I always thought the best niches though even in the early days are pills, gambling and adult entertainment because of the sheer frequency of searches. Especially the later
Griz, Thank you so much for visiting my blog and also for the comment you left! It really made my day. :)
Holy crap.
I still haven't read the post, but judging by its length, I'm sure it's gonna be nothing but awesome.
I don't know how long it took you to type it up, but thank you.
Hi Grizz
Ever since I started reading your blog posts early this year, my online income has gone from a few hundred/month to approximately $2000/month!!!
thanks for all your advice and help!
-Living Off Dividends & Passive Income
Hi Grizz,
As usual, it's a pleasure to read one of your posts.
This probably doesn't apply to you, because you love to write long posts ;-), but for anyone who can remotely connect giving away free images to their niche; it's a great way to get traffic. You don't have to write as much in your posts if you use descriptive, keyword-filled image names, because they're read as text by the engines. And you'll pick up not only Google traffic but a much greater percentage of Yahoo and MSN traffic. Those engines love free images.
Just a little food for thought. I'm happy to say that strategy is working like crazy for me.
It's all about perseverance, isn't it? Everyone seems to want it now, now, now, but unless you're really lucky that day, it's just not going to happen. As for myself, I'd have absolutely nothing to show for myself without your guidance, Griz. Granted, it may not be much, but I'm in for the long haul, and I know that every little step along the way counts just as much as the "final" step (is there ever one of those?)
Again, just wanted to send my appreciation your way. Thanks!
Griz,
I am confused by Noob's comments above. I understand the Problogger link is no-follow so it doesn't help him. But does having that link on your site help you with Google? Will you get more search traffic from that link than if you just used the work Problogger with the link?
Thanks for all your help with this amazing business.
Mark Perkins,
I'll never divulge my top site but I will say this, if you can get the traffic you will find that people looking for recipes will click ads with abandon.
It's also the kind of niche that has almost no limit for related keywords so you can build traffic endlessly.
The ads don't pay as well as other niches but with enough traffic you can still make a good buck.
Hi Blog Lady,
Your welcome and I like your style. :-)
Dividends,
Glad to hear things are working out well for you - keep at it and let me know when you are sipping Margaritas on the beach. lol.
Hi Carla,
Thanks for the tip. I've long noticed that I get more traffic to my tropical fish sites from Google Images (because of the tagged photos) rather than the usual content traffic. Is that what you are referring to?
Hey Milkman,
Thanks for the appreciation. Is there a final step? Probably not...
Andy,
I have noticed in the past that I seem to rank better when targeting other sites names or authors if I link to the site in question. Normally I would use a do-follow link but in this case I want to see if no-follow makes a difference. If I don't see results I will change it to do-follow later.
As you can see Noob and a few other readers like to pay attention to what I do more so than what I say. (It's getting harder to play un-noticed these days... lol.)
Griz,
On your low paying high traffic sites, do you still use adsense?
Seems like smart pricing could some into play?
Grizz,
Awesome buddy.
I quit reading Grisham and am spending time here.
Excellent overview with golden nuggets here and there. Especially the way you dissected and sliced the long tails: how to make money online for beginners, making mony online for beginners, make money online , make money, money.
thanks.
Hey Grizz,
My first comment here. I'm a newbie who was directed here by another convert of yours. I started with your first post in ,06 and have been working my way forward. Learned enough to get me going and have been on my way. The last while my focus has shifted in the dangerous direction you are exposing here. Thank you for this - you are correcting me on making a lethal mistake right at the cusp of me starting to walk the road. Your brutal honesty and candidness is exactly what makes a difference to your readers. I hope you make a ton of money from this site so you don't stop writing it.
FYI - everyone - Project Payday is far less lucrative and "easy" than it was a couple of years ago. I went down the road and explored it for a couple of days. In order to actually make money doing this you have to really sign up for a terrific amount of deals and really put yourself out there in providing your email and credit card info to a huge number of retailers. At BEST you can expect slightly worse than doubling your input money and we are not talking large dollars here. You'll work very hard (doing very brainless and repetitive things) to make a relatively small amount of money. The money you make per hour is not what it apparently once was. I only lost $40ish on the deal and a few days of time so I can chalk it up to a relatively inexpensive learning experience.
Hi Mattt,
Don't get confused about smart pricing.
You get smart priced if your traffic converts poorly and a sudden drop in CPC is usually a sign of smart pricing but not a cause. Low CTR is also not a factor in smart pricing but many think it is. Poorly targeted traffic causes smart pricing - nothing else.
Getting low CPC in some niches is normal as there just aren't any high paying ads.
Therefor you can run adsense in a low CPC niche and do just fine. You just need a hell of a lot more traffic to crack the $100/day barrier. Lol.
The site of mine that I referred to above ran adsense for a long time but I have 3 corporate sponsors now who make it worth my while. I had to drop the Adsense on it but I still use it on two other blogs in the same niche - they sit in 2nd and 3rd spots in the serps right behind my corporate site. I pretty much own the niche, found it by luck and haven't found another goldmine like it since... I hate to admit it but luck can play a role in this.
Maybe I should mention the luck involved - I found the keyword phrase because G picked it out of one of those insanely long posts I write. The post was targeting a completely different niche (Fishing) than what the long tail phrase G found related to (there is a connection albeit faint) and a ton of traffic showed up.
Since then I always use long rambling posts to trawl for more traffic. All my best sites were found doing this and not through research. (Maybe I'm a crappy researcher though) I just stick with what works and it seems to work.
Oh and I find that long rambling comments work just as well - like this one! Lol.
Griz,
Thanks for the clarification. So when I check my stats, and as long as my traffic comes from search engines to the site with related keyword terms, then I'll be okay then?
All the sites I have are getting blue widget traffic to blue widget sites, but I was afraid just because the pay out was low when I check the adwords keyword tool.
What happens if your traffic is targeted, say fishing, and the ads are fishing, but the advertiser gets poor conversion from the related traffic from your site?
Then from what I understand you are saying, I could get priced?
BTW- I have started to do some long rambling posts, and now I am starting to see what you are talking about. It is surprising how you can get a listing from a sentence in the 10th paragraph of a post that google lists in the description.
I also found that occasionally posting the entire keyword list in a post similar to how you did helps to tell me what Google thinks my site is about.
I have no problem getting a high CTR and getting some great high-paying clicks, and ranking on the first page for many terms, but I lack in volume. I'm not going to change the style of my "flagship" blog to get the volume because I have 3 other blogs just begging to get out of the sandbox.
Having said all that, backlinks are the only way to increase search volume.
Grizz,
As always learned something new.
One question, (or more) with the statcounter, how do you determine which keywords to go after? Do you start from the top and see if you rank #1 for that keyword and then move on down the line? Or do you check the keywords to see which ones have the most pay outs with Adsense? I get confused as to which keywords to target in my statcounter.
Do you only use the keywords in statcounter for backlinks or do you make more posts using these keywords?
Oh my Adsense seems to be picking up. Still do not know what was happening. My CPC has gone down somewhat but not really alarming yet.
You are correct in saying the only money most of the top bloggers make is buy (pun intended) getting other bloggers and less experienced people to buy their stuff.
Everytime I read your posts I end up unsubscribing from a half dozen other how to make money online for beginners blogs.
Your method (or non-method) is consistant and it works.
Thanks.
Grizz,
I see problogger is also in first page position 5 in first page for " make money".
I suspect he is reading your blog now. LOL.
Hi Griz,
New guy here, I'm wondering about mentions of "hundreds of blogs," "rinse and repeat," "your 4 separate identities," etc... I noticed that this particular Blogger account has 2.1 blogs attached to it. Does G care how many blogs I make here? And when should footprints become a concern?
Great post, keep up the good work
Wow, Grizz it looks like this last Post put you past CarlOcab in the Search term 'make money online' at GOOG. Your in 2nd spot now which is the highest I have seen since I have been following you for over 5 months now. Congrats ;)
Just want to say how much you have been an inspiration to me. And I totally consider you a mentor. This is my first comment but have been reading your blog religously.
My Adsense back in July and August was around $7 a month. And just this past November I broke $50 for the first time :) Alot of it can be attributed to your no nonsense philosphy.
Thanks again for providing all this incredible info.
Discrat
After thoroughly REreading your blog this december-january 1 2009, I will start a blog of my own using blogger, and will post my adsense earnings to show you (hopefully make you proud like a teacher) a step by step of what I did, and credit you for teaching people the real way to make money.
(Just need to decide on a niche :P)
your unofficial student.
Hi Grizz,
I`m a follower reader of a buntch os sites/blogs, but the only posts that i`m allways looking for in my mail, or feed reader, is YOURS.
It`s the one and only true valued info that I receive. Those crapy A-List bloggers only send me crapy info.
I spend even less and less time on those crapy social media sites and more and more reading your posts.
Do you believe that I`ve read all your posts and all comments?
It worth all the effort that i spend. BTW, its a pleasure for me to read them all.
Keep it going ... your the man.
Cumps,
Artur
Mattt,
I suppose it can happen that Targeted visitors won't convert well for the advertiser but I haven't experienced this. How G determines "conversions" is still a mystery to me but having targeted traffic always produces the best results - ie I haven't been smart priced.
Hey RT,
Nice to see you. I wouldn't change your flagship either for the sake of adsense. It is becoming increasingly clear that multi niche flagship (authority) sites like yours can be used more effectively for launching other sites and providing excellent keyword authority for a large number of terms - related or not.
Hi Denise,
My CPC has dropped as well across the board and it looks like a slowdown in high paying advertisers or G is padding their 4th quarter coffers again by reducing the payout to publishers. (They have been accused of this before - remember we don't know what our cut really is) Just speculating of course.
As for keywords - when I find a niche that comes up a winner (meaning it has the traffic volume to make some decent money with) I target every keyword that statcounter produces for me. I don't write posts targeting them all - I use them all in backlinks targeting the posts I have already published.
In general your posts should target just the main keywords in the titles etc but fill the posts with long tails. Then send backlinks using all the terms - main keywords and long tails.
If on occasion I see a new long tail pop up that drives more than a few visitors to my site I will check my ranking for it. If I am in 1st spot and get 5-10 visitors a day I do nothing. If I get 5-10 visitors from a page 2 or worse ranking then I will write a post targeting the keyword directly in order to capture top spot for the term as there is likely a lot more traffic to be had from it. 10 visitors a day from a page 2 rank usually means there are hundreds of visitors available for the top ranking.
This may sound confusing but you can usually tell which terms are going to produce the most traffic and these are the ones you target directly with posts - all others are reinforced by using the terms in backlinks only and by way of including the phrases in your post content.
Toolboxhero,
Thanks. I have the advantage over most sites in that my site is a working demo of my methods and anyone can verify the results. You can't fake serp rankings. lol.
Roger,
Unlike the majority of A list bloggers, Darren Rowse does rank well in the serp's for various terms - mostly "blogging" related. He does understand SEO and has admitted that G is his most profitable source of traffic.
Ultranorman,
Welcome. I've discussed this in depth elsewhere but damned if I can find the posts. Lol.
In short you can create all the blogs you want in blogger but unless they are all top quality you are best to stick to 4 - 5 for each blogger account.
When it comes to footprints you need to take care - keep a spreadsheet and be aware of how you link your network together. This could take a whole post to explain but your goal is to not leave a trail which would identify all your sites as coming from one source. I have explained this in the private forum if you are interested.
Discrat,
It is always nice to hear that readers are getting results - keep at it and thanks.
Anonymous,
I wish I had a foolproof method for finding new niches but I just throw enough poop at the wall and eventually something sticks. lol. I do however, target the competitive niches as I already know there is money to be made but this is tough to do for beginners and requires a great deal of patience.
Hey Artur,
Nice to see you and I hope all is well. If you have read everything then you deserve a pat on the back. I don't think I could do it! lol.
Hey Grizz,
what is this private forum that you keep mentioning and how do we become qualified?
Anonymous,
Just send me an email and I will tell you how to get in. No qualifications necessary.
First time to find your blog, wow!
Great stuff.
Gris,
Thanks for the enlightening comment above about what you do. There is so much information in the words that I haven't taken the time to see how you presented them.
I will in the future though. Thanks for all the help as I continue to put your tips into action.
Another great post full of rich make money online content.
I think Adsense is great too, and find it to be my primary source of online income these days.
AL
Wowie, I was gonna send you an email Grizz, since you offered on my blog, but you just answered all my questions, this is your BEST post yet! Thank you!!
JR
Hey Griz, nice post.
Looks like you need to hurry up and write that book. Then you can tell everyone asking "how to make money online" that it's "in the book" =)
I believe the biggest misconception people have about making money online is how long and how much effort it will take them. I usually tell people to plan for a year at minimum if the niche is competitive, probably longer. Few people really want to put the time and effort into ranking a site that takes a year or longer to start seeing money come in.
It's taken me 15 months to get into the top 10 for 'affiliate program' and 'affiliate programs' is right behind in the top 15.
Slow and steady wins the race people.
Look forward to more post Griz, keep up the good fight :)
Don
Hi Grizz
Grand post both on scale and quality of information. I just wanted to mention that your Blogger techniques work just as well on regular webpages.
I have been using many bits of your advice over the past several months and am seeing positive results. Slow but sure!
Thanks Again
Hey Grizz hope it's been fun shovelling snow...
Could you pls elaborate on your comments about AMA being doomed? :)
Grizz,
You totally made since. Now I know what I should be doing with these keywords that show up in my statcounter.
Thanks a ton!
Damn..!!!! is hot dude..!!!
great blog..great infos...love this kind of blog
thanks for share dude...
regards
Ozie
As usual a great post Griz. Thanks for all the help you have provided me with in the past few months. I have been experimenting with your methods some time now, and now it's starting to show some results. Thanks a lot.
Hi Griz,
Problem I have with this post is that 95% of the backlinks to this sites are from blogs / social sites links.... many are from bloggers you know / are friends with.
What I would like to see is a post on link building for a "non bloggy" topic would be very useful... for example... say you had a niche site about "reactolite spectacles"... how would you approach link building on a site like that?
Jez
Griz,
Great news again! I have now been at it for 9 months and topped $300 in earnings a couple times this week. That is with 1 website. I can't thank you enough. You have allowed me to have my own IM business and avoid the "real world" of work.
Yep, for all of you that are losing hope out listen up. I have only been at it for 9 months and am making that much with 1 website.
All I did was follow the methods Griz has laid out for us here at his blog. It really is that simple. The two most important things are selecting the right niche and keyword anchored backlinks. If you have those two things down then there is no way you can be stopped!!!
hey Grizz,
Great article as always! I have been silently reading your blog for several months now and I can't stress enough how much I appreciate you sharing all this valuable info.
I applied many of your strategies, specially those about link building and i have to honestly say you are right about back links.
You can increase your ranking in Google, increase your page rank and of course your traffic with one single link from a high page rank website.
Thanks and keep it up!
Back at you Griz
and thank YOU!
Hey Griz. Are your niches those that interest you? Meaning, given that you like to write long posts, how do you write 1,000+ words on something you don't have an interest in (assuming this is the case)? Also, how do you keep writing large essays on blogs as you continually move on to new ones? How do you go back and feed the ones that have come before? Or do you grow the blog to a certain level and leave it for far less frequent updates?
The reason I ask is every time I build another blog I look backwards and see those that are littered behind me begging for content. I like moving forward but blogs need to be blogged, at least until you get adequate backlinks I would think.
Hi Griz, I'm Joe@Mymode.
I have been following few of your advices here in your make money online blog. I have a question though. Most of the time when I submit my articles somewhere, those articles tend to climb up the rank higher than my own blog. Why is that? So far I used dupe articles (coz u said so that G's weakest link is dupe). Is this temporary effect until G recalculate all the BLs?
Thank you in advance and thanks too for giving me the tips how to fish instead of giving me the fish.
-joe@mymode-
As always this is an amazing post! One of the best yet imo. Definitely good for knowing how to make money online! Sorry I didn't comment sooner. I have been out of town since Friday and you must have posted this after I left. Great job buddy!
Where were you when I was starting, Grizz? I have been blogging for more than a year, trying to inspire others with my quality posts about family and parenting.
Yes, I am good, and earned some regular followers who are inspired with my posts. OMG! I am a hero, but a poor one. Unfortunately, the niche I choose are not being loved by searchers. Social bloggers do not like it that much also.
Now, I am planning to make another blog that can make me money. It does not matter if I don't like the topic, nothing personal.
Now, I will use my brain more than my heart. I then put inside my brain what I read from your posts.
Keep coming!
Wow I am in awe and inspired. I got a junk email, I usually delete those and from one thing to another it led me here. I had no idea of what I did not know. Thank you for this blog and I will come back often, as this is probably the answer to something I was looking for without knowing what I was looking for.
Thank you
Grizz, fabulous site. I found it by accident (or as it seems with your SEO scheming, not so much by accident).
I was reading some of the A lister advice and frankly, got sick of the same drivel being spouted over and over. Yours is a method that's fairly simple, a large investment in time, no respect, but one that works.
Thanks for sharing the love.
P.S. I started a new blog yesterday with your information: http://tropical-fish-food.blogspot.com/2008/12/best-tropical-fish-food-guide.html
If you have time (no worries if you can't!), let me know what you think of this blog.
Cheers
Ben
Ben,
I did check it out and thought it was one of mine! Lol. You don't need any help as it is set up exactly the way I would do it. Now get out there and work on the backlinks. :-)
Grizz, I love this site! I've been reading it over time and even started my first blog in October, using your techniques.
A couple of days in to it, I had to halt for a while, with a couple of posts and a few backlinks from articles.
I just looked at it, again, because I'm getting ready to restart my efforts and was amazed that I'm averaging 3 visitors a day and even made a few cents. Not bad considering I barely started and haven't done anything in almost 2 months!
Grizz, I'd appreciate it if you'd check it out, if you have some time and tell me what you think: http://educationtechnologyinfo.blogspot.com.
Just a few more articles, then I'm going over to your niche support page...
Thanks, again! You truly are a gift to those of us who need to learn this stuff!
blackhatworld dot com/blackhat-seo/blogging/43250-when-nitching-what-would-good-search-volume.html
Damn. I see your blog everywhere.
lol
thanks for looking at my site grizz! I've been busy with my book website, so haven't put any time into my fish site. I also took down the ads as the site seems to be in the google sandbox (no surprised there, putting up google ads the same day i created it!). I've taken down the ads in an attempt to get out of the sandbox faster and i noticed my other site was getting less $$ from each click, probably cause the fish site has no traffic and this was pulling the ad revenu down from my other site (you mention this).
Anyways, i'll see if I can get some backlinks now (the hardest part!)
Finding a niche for niche affiliate marketing is always a problem for most online marketers. Most people jump into the make money online.
Hey Griz,
I've been working my way through your archives over the last few months and have learned more about how to make money online than I have over the last few years everywhere else
So thank you...
I do have a couple of questions about finding a money making niche and keyword strategy though if you'd be so kind.
OK I've found a money making niche with high volume search engine traffic and high paying adsense ads. Here is the thing I won't be able to get on the first page for the main keyword phrase because it is dominated by high PR7 PR6 and PR5 sites and the results are in the millions, however there is an abundance of long tail keywords with daily traffic from the 50's into the low 100's that I could rank well for (or so I hope.)
How would you tackle this or would you even bother with these numbers for adsense?
Should I create one central money blog to send all the traffic or a blog for each phrase that I could get top SERP and monetize them individually?
As a general question when structuring a money making blog, do you use one particular keyword/keyphrase for each new page and then scatter some different keywords on that page for good measure? Is this the best practice for SEO? Do you have a secondary keyword a third etc?
I want to set off using your methodology on a winning note so I can learn, improve and eventually earn an online income so my final question is this and I hope isn't too idiotic.
What numbers should I look for to be able to absolutely dominate the SERP and generate a little online revenue.(ballpark)
Search traffic - per month/daily
In quotes keyword competition
Results not in quotes
When looking for keywords using the big G keyword tool do you use broad, exact, phrase search?
Once again thanks for such a great site Griz You're helping all of us newbies looking to make money online right now tremendously.
Steve
next time that you see an eBook or website stating that making money online is a quick and easy thing to do, think again. Really consider how much work that you are willing to put into your online business.
This is exellent post , it’s amazing . Thanks for writing this topic , with so many details .Very useful
I emailed you and asked a question but got it here in this post. Great stuff you write here.
This is an excellent post. I'm new to the blogsphere and learning a great deal. This is by far the best. Thanks!
Very informative and "spare us all the bullsh*t" post - love it. It's a shame more of the gurus and IM wannabe's don't understand the essence of exactly what you wrote - it's not about shoving people more and more offers and spamming as many blogs and web2.0 sites as possible with product launches, it's about providing real and useful information - that's IT. Once you do that, everything else kind of falls into place on its own. again, great post!
cheers
T.
I swear you are freakin awesome. You're a true asset to the Internet and to peoples lives. I know that sounds cheesy, but I don't care. If people will just listen to what you have to say, they'll find IT.... success!
Hi Griz, Been spending the last few days reading your old posts and it's been very insightful.
As I am planning to start few niche blogs, would you recommend ways/softwares that I can use to find best niches and keywords. Recommendation for backlinking will be very helpful.
Thanks!
Thanks for your info, I want to know how to make adsense if my blog not in enlish language
My,
Adsense can be used on sites other than English. You'll have to sign up for adsense to see what is involved.
Hmmm. I wish I have found this blog earlier. I would have avoided a lot of pain and mistakes. Thanks for sharing your info.
This is a great read
But I have to say, for some reason using free blog to make money is something I wouldn't do myself. Why? Well, say one day blogspot.com goes down, not server down the business going down or say sold to company which does not want to keep it alive. Then what? all the years of work , the BL, the serps- puff, gone instantly.
What then? Are you really prepared for that?
I mean, no offense, but looks to me that you are already a hostage to blogspot.com.
On the other hand, blog on your own domain/subdomain - other than forgetting to renew it or going over bandwidth limit - you keep all the profits, no one can shut you down or rob you. My biggest adsense day was little over $13 so far, and although in my day job I make well over 500/day I still would like to make that with adsense instead. Today is my first day here and from what I see it won’t be last. Good luck everyone!
AG
If Blogger goes down - the owner "Google" goes down. If they sell it - who is going to pay millions for it and shut it down? The chances of either happening are pretty remote but wouldn't matter to me one way or the other. I would just build another site and dominate this niche all over again. The point of using Blogger in the first place was to show people that I could take a free hosted blog and dominate one of the most competitive niches online (I've done it with a WP blog as well).
If you read just this article then you won't know my history but I have hundreds of sites that rank number 1 on G for a great many competitive terms across a huge variety of niches and I am not concerned with losing any particular blog. My system worked 5 years ago and still works today - it can be duplicated over and over and I could start a new site tomorrow and dominate this niche again in 6 months. Btw - I'm not bragging, I just know how to do it and have been doing it for years.
I like blogger because I can build sites fast and test keyword markets without any expense what so ever. Try building 50 WP self hosted sites each month just to test long tails - you would go broke. Costs me nothing to find the keywords that convert and I spend zero time fiddling with technical issues. Blogger never goes down either - my WP sites do and are a real pain in the ass sometimes. (My blogger sites have never been hacked either)
Most of all I just like mocking all the so called experts (who I outrank and make more money than) that prattle on and on about having great content and pretty looking sites in order to attract readers. Readers don't make you money - search traffic does and I don't want them reading - I want them clicking ads and ugly blogger sites are ideal for funneling people to the money clicks. If you keep reading you will learn what I'm talking about.
I appreciate where you are coming from but WP and Host Gator, GoDaddy et al are more likely to go out of business before G ever does and as I said - big deal. I dominate most keywords in a matter of a few months so it's not something that concerns me. Btw - this free site has made well over 100K with zero expense and zero maintenance - not bad considering I first heard the "what if blogger goes under" line 3 years ago. People will still be asking me that in 3 more years. lol
Thanks for stopping by - I assume you came from the DP thread asking how to dominate the term "cars". Piece of cake but a totally worthless keyword that I wouldn't waste time with. Btw - DP and WF are a complete waste of time too - anyone who knows what they are doing doesn't waste time on those forums - full of posers. I checked out your site and if you want help read this site (and comments) or better yet join Court's keyword Academy and get structured lessons that will teach you exactly how to do what I do.
Good luck.
Hey griz...
Not sure if you still follow the older posts, but - when you're making other blogs, how do you keep track of them? I assume it's smarter to create new profiles for each blog - my anxiety-stricken mind has a problem holding it all together....
thanks for your time and posts!
sorry. gotta use that g account.
