I'll keep this short and to the point. It has been a long time since I found another marketer who impresses me. To impress me you only have to do one thing - show me a system that actually makes money and is easily duplicated. Ok two things - show me the system for free. That's not really asking much is it? The list of marketers who meet this criteria could be counted on one hand. In other words there are very few people that really make a living online using a system that can be divulged to others without it causing the system to stop working.
I tell people (for free) how to make money online using SEO and Adsense.
How to Flip Websites and Products for Profit
Jason AKA The University Kid has a system for selling product and flipping websites that he has made available for free. Read the post linked to above and then shuffle over to his new site MakeMoneyDynamo and download his free ebook which explains exactly how to make money online selling ebooks and then how to make even more money by flipping the ebook's domain. It's a clever system that can be duplicated as many times as you feel motivated to do it.
In case it matters I am not being paid to promote this (it's free anyway). I simply want to offer my readers another alternative for making money online and to introduce you all to Jason who caught my attention a while back and has steadily built up a site that delivers real info and real methods for earning a living online. Keep it up Jason - you are a breath of fresh air in this niche.
Btw - I am on vacation (yes - again) while waiting for the lake to finish freeze-up and haven't touched my emails for the past two weeks - sorry if you have been waiting for a reply. I am busy with some real world business matters at the moment but should be home in the next week.
Cheers

How to Make Money Flipping Blogs and Products
Labels: eBook Marketing, Flipping Websites
Project Payday - A Legit Method to Make Money at Home
I have included Project Payday on my blog for all of my readers who write in asking if there are any legit online programs that they can use to make some quick money. Project Payday is not a get rich quick scheme - it is more like a work at home job. You don't need a blog or website as it involves getting paid to try out trial offers from online advertisers. There is work to this but you can realistically earn a couple of hundred dollars a day if you want to put in the effort.
I have written several posts about this and suggest you start with this one. Project Payday
Unfortunately Project Payday is only available to American users at this time.
CashCrate is another program similar to Project Payday and they do accept people world wide - it's free to join.
For comparative purposes the stats below reflect my actual earnings with Cashcrate.
A Little Heart to Heart
You have probably figured out by now that you aren't going to find the answer in a $47 ebook or by following your favorite twit on twitter. The fact is many of you are still wondering how this plain free hosted Blogger blog dominates the rankings on the search engines - right? Did you find this site by typing in "make money online" in Google?
If you did then you are halfway to learning the secret to making money online - you need targeted traffic from the search engines (for any niche you pick) and once you have that, you can sell them what they are looking for. Sounds simple and on paper it is - actually dominating the search engines is the hard part. It takes time and you do need to understand keywords and anchor text links. You can spend time on this site and sift through my posts to learn this or you can do yourself a favor and pony up one buck and test drive Court's Keyword Academy Crash Course for a month and learn just why I rank number 1 in the search engines.
This isn't another waste of money or time - just an honest answer for the few of you willing to do the work and who really do want to make a long term sustainable living online. Read my blog from back to front or try a more focused approach with Court - either way you will not be disappointed.
Cheers
Griz

Looks like a great system to me. Any way that will help you to earn a better income sounds good.
The fact that the book is free is a bonus as they are always worth a read...
Kev
I'm going over to check out the site and the free ebook in just a few moments.
Wish you wrote more often Griz...
Hi Griz,
I bought Jason's Flipnoobs ebook a week or so ago ... great value for the money. This new blog looks like it will definitely be worth adding to the ole feed reader as well ... thanks for the heads up.
Todd
Hey Grizz,
Thanks for the love, appreciate it. Haven't been on too many blogs in the last few months (been busy with stuff) but you know yours is one of the ones I read when I do have time.
MMD will hopefully become one of the premier sources for "make money online" information out there... at no cost whatsoever to the end user. I'm working with a partner on promoting it heavily, but of course any help is definitely appreciated!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post as it should blow a few minds... gurus and non gurus alike :P
Jason
Hi Griz,
That's one option that's very feasible for guys from my region and one I have been seriously considering and trying to master. Though I have learned some tips at the academy, i am still not very comfortable with it.
Got my Adsene back recently and so I'm now rushing headlong into that area. After so many "empty" months, I am now trying to make up for lost time, putting what I learned here to good use at last. LOL.
Thanks.
Hi Grizz,
I am always interested in new ways to make money online.
Especially since my Adsense seems to be tanking lately. Don't know what is up with that? I keep climbing in the serps and am getting more traffic to my site from Google but the clicks have stopped. This is with all my sites across the board. My clicks that I am getting are over .10 cents so I know I have not been smart priced. Just no clicks.
I am still going to keep working Adsense though until I get this figured out.
In the mean time I am going to go and check out Jason's sites. Thanks for the info.
Grizz,
thanks again, downloaded the ebook. Enjoy your vacation.
Call me a skeptic. But couldn't he buy 94 ebooks the first month himself, just to document sales. Then flip the domain for 4K on sitepoint, using the ebook sales as perceived value? All he loses is PayPal's cut. Not that I suspect this is the case, but I try to look at all sides of an internet business.
Hey Grizz,
Glad to see you are posting again. Hope all is well with you and hope that your real world issues work out okay. Enjoy your downtime while you have it.
I have three quick questions. If I create a free blog on wordpress or blogger to create back links. Does the blog have to be indexed by Google for the links to count? Can a newly created un indexed blog provide valid backlinks.
Second question must the blog have content. Or can it just contain four or five links. Will google still give credit for the backlinks if there is no content on the blog only links.
Third question what is the max number of words to use in keyword anchor text for links.
To help you along in your quest for traffic from the U.K and Cananda. I have prepared this short statement. Grizz will be sitting on his arse going balmy waiting for the lake to freeze thanks to global warming. In the meantime he should take an aeoroplane across the pond and see jolly olde England. By the time he gets back he will have so many emails waiting in queue that he will be one very busy Canuck just setting things in order. Hope this brings some Canada and British readers for you.
Take care Grizz,
Noob
Hey Turnip,
Not to be harsh, but perhaps you should be using the word lunatic instead of skeptic. :P
Could it be done? Considering all sales were to different Paypal accounts from different IP addresses, and most of those buyers opted in with yet another email, many from their own domain... it's verging on the impossible.
Keeping an open mind is great, but it should not be so open that it considers absurd scenarios.
@ Everyone else... Aweber has cocked up at the moment, but visit later in the day (the same page) and you'll get the report instantly after subscribing. Thanks for checking it out! :)
Potato Chef,
Thanks, I wish I could write more often but my plate is a bit to full these days. Who could have guessed an Adsense blog would attract readers... lol. Hang tight though - I am working on another epic for you die-hards.
Jason,
Just glad to lend a hand as you seem motivated to help others out. Good luck with the site. (Btw - what keyword would you prefer in the link?)
Hi Costa,
I know things are tough trying to monetize a site in your neck of the woods so I was glad to hear you have Adsense again. The nice thing about Jason's method is that your location is inconsequential and should work as well for you as anyone else.
Hope things work out for you - you certainly work at it.
Denise,
I'm not sure why your CTR is tanking - I have noticed a slow down in advertisers over the past month but this has just meant lower CPC as the competition wanes for the keyword bids but my CTR hasn't changed at all.
You may be experiencing Crappy Ad Copy syndrome which occurs when noobs start using Adwords and don't know how to write compelling Copy. If G is sending you these kinds of Ads you won't see many clicks. If the Ads haven't changed from what you have been getting then I am stumped.
Turnip,
I must admit that I had thought of the possibilities of people abusing this system as I read Jason's book but took note of the fact that an unscrupulous marketer wouldn't get away with it for very long. His/her rep would be shot pretty quickly with both the Sitepoint and Warrior crowd.
Hey Noob,
1) A site must be indexed in order to start the link juice flowing.
2) G will not likely index a site without content - ie. there is nothing to index. Also if using blogger you will likely see the site disappear as it will be flagged as a spam site.
3) I don't know that there is a maximum number of words that can be used in an anchor - I have used a few long ones like "how to make money online for beginners" without any problems. Ultimately you want phrases that people use while searching and if you find that people are typing in long phrases then optimize your backlinks for the phrase. Most people don't use long phrases though so this is mostly academic.
Thanks for the help with my "local" rankings! lol.
Thanks for your response Grizz! I am not sure what is going on. But I am going to keep at it. I have decided to go back thru from the beginning and re-read your blog to see if there isn't something I am missing. Or maybe I just need to build more blogs. I know this is a numbers game but I was almost up to $100 a month and now I am back down to around $30. That is with 10adsense sites. Need to keep building until it all comes together I guess.
Hope I don't kill your adsense by re-reading everything again. :-(
Denise,
Have you checked out the possibility that you have been smart priced. Did your CPC suddenly drop on any of those 10 sites?
You might want to use the "allowed sites" function in Adsense setup and block all sites but 1 (your best performer) - wait a few days and then start allowing another site back in the mix every few days and watch what happens to the CPC. If you see an increase at any point then chances are you have a poor site in the mix and when it get's added back you should notice a quick CPC drop across the board.
Just grasping straws but I would give this a try before doing anything else.
I've been following Jason at TUK for quite a while. He also impresses me. He has a great system in place and shares a lot of information with his readers. I'm glad he has started another blog to share even more!
Hi Griz,
It is great to hear from you again. I went over to Jason's site, it looks great.
I have only been reading you for about 2 weeks but it has been like a new view on life. I found I was jumping around to your different posts so I went back to 2007 and read all those and am now on March 2008. The information you offer is absolutely like nothing else on the web.
I was wondering if you think things on the web have changed much in the last year or is all that great information still applicable to what is going on?
I am applying and testing a lot of your ideas and they are great.
Thanks again.
Grizz,
no questions.
Just want to thank you. It is my obscession to make atleast one comment in your posts and check email follow-up comments. LOL.
Justin,
congratulations on new blog. I am adding you also to my BLOGS list.
thanks.
Have fun on your vacation. :)
if you have other ideas .. or if you heard about other methods..please post them
I'll have to check him out. Funny thing, I actually ran across his blog some time ago when I was analyzing a couple sites. He was in a network of blogs that appeared to be working together with the liberalcollegekid. Which, happens to be suspended by Blue host right now. Too bad it was a PR 5 blog.
Of course, I rarely read blogs, so I didn't really look at the university kid
The University Kid is one of my favorite sites. Jason insists that it is not an MMO site, but you certainly pick up a lot of valuable tips there.
finally , after so much of time reading urs ,vic's ,courts and justin's blogs and a lot of ebooks on seo, i finally understand what to do,.....thanx a lot griz for ur wonderful advice ....and wish me luck.......
Griz,
I hate to bother you again but I was really wondering if you are gonna get a chance to look at my site. I asked a couple times in the last fews months but as always I am sure you have been swamped with thousands of emails since then.
The reason I feel it is so important is because I am getting over 400 adsense clicks a day from one website but I can't seem to figure out what I need to do to get better paying ads. I always get the low paying ones for my niche that only average me $0.10-$0.15 a click when I know I could probably average $0.25 to $0.40 a click. This means I could be leaving over $50 a day on the table.
I just don't know what to do as I am still a beginner and haven't quite figured Adsense out yet.
Please let me know if you can help me soon as this is also a temporary money maker.
A little off topic, but I noticed that you live in Canada and enjoy the great outdoors, do you watch Bob Izumi's fishing show?
What's more amazing to me is that people actually still buy ebooks. I guess there are enough noobs coming in everyday for people to make money off them.
Griz,
Are you seeing traffic increases to your adsense sites since the start of the holiday online shopping season?
Hey Griz,
I just wanted to let you know I appreciate your honesty and the straightforward way you teach your lessons. It's good to have a blog to read that's like that book you just can't put down! I know you got a life...but I just wish you would post more often.
Thanks,
Jerry
poor ,folks ,some of the noobs here, really dont get what u r talking about ......
MakeMoneyDynamo also talked about flipping WordPress themes which I never heard of,yet seems incredibly easy.
