I'm not sure when I first noticed an increase in Yahoo search visitors to this blog - maybe a month ago - but when the guests began arriving I did some investigating and sure enough I found this blog was suddenly showing up in Yahoo's serp listings for a few of my main keywords. This may not mean much to those of you who use Wordpress but for those of us who like using Blogger this has had some pleasant consequences.
Until recently it was necessary to use Meta Tags in order to rank well in Yahoo. You have to do a little coding to add Meta tags to blogger as Google (the owner) doesn't include the option in the default set up. This is because Google doesn't use Meta Tags in it's Serp algorithm. By not providing the option in Blogger they have also, if you read between the lines, told bloggers not to use Meta Tags if you want to rank well in Google. Google doesn't completely ignore Meta tags - they know they are there and if you use them like most people do - stuffing repetitive keywords into them, then Google will just write you off as spam. Get your tags wrong and you can hurt your rankings. Don't use them at all and you are safe. This is the primary reason I have long said not to optimize your sites for Yahoo or MSN et al. Google is the search engine you MUST rank well on if you hope to make money online. Don't screw up your Google rankings in hopes of ranking well on other engines.
I have never added Meta tags to any Blogspot blogs. I rank well on Google - they send me a lot of traffic - until recently about 85% of my visitors have been sent here from the Serp's. I used to get the odd visitor from Yahoo or MSN and a few of the other lesser engines.
Something has definitely changed in regards to the Yahoo Algorithm. As I said I noticed a sudden increase in traffic - not huge but noticeable - last month for a few keywords. Since then more and more keywords keep showing up in the serp listings. I have mentioned that this blog ranks page 1 on Google for more than 50 keywords and it appears that Yahoo is copying Google's rankings for all the same keywords.
A few days ago I finally did a little stat hunting because it was hard not to notice that Yahoo was sending me just about as much traffic as Google (turns out to be 50% as much) and my Adsense income has grown as well - partly because of the added traffic but also because my CTR has increased about 4% over the past month. At first I thought the increase was due to the fact that G had stopped smart pricing me. Turns out that smart pricing is only part of the story. This blogspot blog has had the most increase in traffic but I have noticed an increase across most of my deep linked blogger blogs from Yahoo. I still have a lot of other blogspot blogs that haven't seen much increase at all. Have any of you noticed more traffic coming from Yahoo on your Blogger blogs?
Considering I used to get maybe 50 visitors a month from Yahoo the stats below give you a good idea of how much new traffic is showing up. This is from a couple of days ago - Thursday's stats.
That's a lot of new daily visitors to this site and I started checking the keywords that were bringing in the traffic. Turns out I was sitting in number 1 spot on Yahoo for a couple of the best terms - "How to Make Money Online" 1st out of a measly 1 Billion 7 hundred and 40 million pages... lol.
I even slipped into 8th spot for the big kahuna "Make Money Online".
The best part about all this is that while they are suddenly ranking me for my main keywords they are also ranking me for all sorts of long tails proving that they are still a crappy search engine and making me money in the process. They are ranking me for all sorts of irrelevant terms that practically guarantees an increase in my CTR. People are coming here looking for "how to make professional estimates" and not finding what they want - exactly the kind of visitors you want on an Adsense site. Most just leave but it appears 4% more of these folks are clicking out using the Adsense ads than my Google traffic is.
The end result is that this blog is now making a very decent buck. I'm not rubbing it in, just reminding a lot of you that Adsense is still the easiest way to make money online. And SEO is all that is needed. In a nutshell this blog makes money because of 2 things; the keywords I have used to optimize my pages and the backlinks that I have which use those keywords in the anchor text. That is all this comes down to folks. I'm not saying only use Adsense - always seek out multiple income streams - but remember that whatever monetization method you use depends on driving not just traffic but the right kind of traffic - search traffic. Search traffic boils down to just one thing - backlinks.
Get the best links and you win.
I'm curious - have any of you Blogger bloggers seen a surge in Yahoo traffic over the past month? Here is a brief list of terms Yahoo has sent me traffic for this past hour - both related and unrelated;

Oh if you ever want to see if your readers are reading your blog and don't mind chewing up bandwidth just add a list of Keywords linked to the search engines like I did above. Post - wait 10 minutes and then check your stats... like this.
It appears a few people just can't help checking those links...
Lol. Just having a little fun with ya'
One more thing... Vic has a video up today regarding his Private Academy Launch. I can't seem to get any voice when trying to play it so if anyone would like to tell me what he is saying please feel free... I'm particularly interested in any mention of the words "Griz" and "Gets a free membership". If all those terms happen to go together in one sentence then please let me know...

Project Payday - A Legit Method to Make Money at Home
I have included Project Payday on my blog for all of my readers who write in asking if there are any legit online programs that they can use to make some quick money. Project Payday is not a get rich quick scheme - it is more like a work at home job. You don't need a blog or website as it involves getting paid to try out trial offers from online advertisers. There is work to this but you can realistically earn a couple of hundred dollars a day if you want to put in the effort.
I have written several posts about this and suggest you start with this one. Project Payday
Unfortunately Project Payday is only available to American and Canadian users at this time. Oh and it is free.
Note - After signing up take advantage of the Fast First Training link - you can learn how the IFW system works while making yourself a quick $50.00.

Grizz,
I would say a majority of my traffic for my asthma and politcal(my main blog with adsense)come from yahoo rather than Google. Although I don't get much traffic as I have not worked it that much.
I noticed I was ranking better in Yahoo than with Google. I would say. Over the past 3 months. I went from 2% yahoo up to 5-7%
I never put in meta tags.. but I had planned on it in the future to test if it made a difference. I guess I don't need to? But, I am sure I'll test it. It will definately be nice when I have some more time in the next 2-3 months.
Grizz,
For clarification please define chasing social traffic? How do you do it? I am sure I don't but how do you do it?
I know digg, stumble etc.. Is chasing the traffic done by posting to those sites??
I think it's more than meta tags. I noticed a surge in yahoo traffic a week or two ago and I have been using meta tags all along.
My Yahoo traffic has been pretty stable. I haven't received any Yahoo visitors at all on most of my Blogger blogs and on my WP blogs it's been rather small, with the exception of OpTempo where it's about 10-12% of the search engine traffic.
However, I have gotten a lot of MSN/Live traffic lately across the board. On some of my Blogger blogs it's accounting for 25% of the traffic.
One thing to remember about Yahoo and MSN/Live is that it's often installed as the default search engine for Internet Explorer on new PCs. Thus a lot of the traffic won't be all that tech savvy.
I dunno Griz. I saw a surge of traffic when I added meta keywords (by copying my categories and tags into the meta keywords) and then ANOTHER surge a week or so ago.
Something is definitely going on and I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, as Frank said, Internet newbies come mainly from Yahoo and MSN/Live. It might be interesting to see if new computer sales have risen in the past couple of months -- wait, they have! It's been in the news. That's what a lot of people did with their IRS rebate checks.
Dennis,
I think you mis-read me - I don't chase social traffic at all. The only traffic I am after is from the serp's.
Carl,
Yup,it is more than just Meta tags. My point was that Meta tags are now apparently irrelevant to Yahoo. What other criteria they are using I can't say but it appears I am in their favor.
Frank,
Interesting that you mentioned MSN/Live - I was going to mention them as well. In my case I see some traffic coming from them for new blogs in the start up stage but it peters out over time. This blog rarely gets a hit though.
Perhaps the non-tech savvy have their uses - they seem to like clicking ads... ;-)
RT,
Oh man... you mean I have to start paying attention to the news? Damn... one more thing to do!
I like your hunch though - it appears a lot of us are seeing more Yahoo traffic and that would help explain why.
I am getting more traffic to my Wordpress blog (DJN) from Yahoo and it all started about a month ago.
I also have a few Blogger blogs and on many of them the only traffic I have ever been able to get is from Yahoo. I can't get my Blogger blogs to rank in Google.
Your blog does get a ton of traffic. I wish I understood exactly how you do it. So far this month I have had 505 people click the links to my blog at the bottom of your blog. I can only imagine how many visitors you really get. Talk about a steady stream!
Bruce,
You just saved me having to ask you what kind of traffic you got this month. I'm getting flak so I will have to change the links soon but I thought I'd leave yours up for a bit just to see if you got a boost and to see how effective the links are. Sounds like a few people read past the post... cool.
No real secret to getting traffic... links, links and more links. Honestly that is all it takes.
Hi Griz. I'm still really new to this and I've been reading as much of your blog as I can. You write "People are coming here looking for 'how to make professional estimates' and not finding what they want - exactly the kind of visitors you want on an Adsense site."
I thought I remember reading on your blog earlier that you want to be as keyword relevent and as targeted as possible so that you can increase advertisers' conversions and that the goal is not necessarily to increase CTR.
Wouldn't it be bad for people looking for estimates clicking on your ads because they won't buy from the advertisers and eventually you'll get smart priced?
I'm newer to this so sorry if my understanding of smart pricing is way off. Thanks a lot for clarifying this for me Grizz.
Joe,
I am impressed - you have been doing your reading and that is an excellent point. The fact is I am about to find out what happens. I know G knows what kind of traffic they send to my page and how well it converts - I don't know what happens when Yahoo sends traffic though as I have never really received much of their bounty before.
So far my CPC hasn't dropped and has actually increased slightly while my CTR has grown 4 points. It appears that the yahoo traffic is either converting well or Google can't follow the trail. Most of the keywords contain the term "make money" in them even though the searcher is looking for a concept or item that I don't cover - perhaps this is relevant enough for G. I must admit that I have thought about what do I do if the Yahoo traffic has adverse effects on my earnings (smart pricing). Can I write them a letter and tel them to stop indexing me? Lol.
Joe your understanding of smart pricing is spot on and your observations didn't escape me - I have been keeping a close eye on my CPC - if it dips I may have to pull the ads and that would suck.
Btw - I am assuming that really irrelevant searches like "the estimate" probably results in the user just leaving. None of my ads would interest someone searching for that term. It's the semi-relevant terms that are probably producing the additional clicks.
hi griz,
how r u man. gr8 post dude. gooogle has taken over the yahoo search program i suppose...........now if we optmize for google then we can get traffoc from both yahoo and google...........
Aravind,
You got it.
Hey RT... you pay attention to the news - did G buy Yahoo by any chance? Lol
@ griz
Google guys just took over search program and paid ads section like adwords on yahoo. The rest is operated by yahoo guys only.
Excellent, thanks a lot Grizz. Thank you very much for sharing these kinds of observations with us. I've been working hard this last month implementing these ideas and I hope very soon to share a modest success story with you!
Well you have me interested now. I guess I will go waste an hour or so checking my Yahoo rankings. Thanks for keeping me as unproductive as possible, I needed more help with that! LOL.
Trent,
Glad to see my plan is working - productive bloggers might outrank me!
Nice to see you Trent - hope all is well (aside from the production thing). lol
Grizz,
If I understand right, people go for social traffic just to gain more traffic, if one is monitizing the site with CPM, is n't that helpful.
Now I got to cover blogger and wordpress, jesus.
Roger,
For the most part CPM sucks. You need thousands of visitors to make any decent coin and few social sites would even come close to the numbers needed. And you need a constant stream of new posts to keep them coming back.
I prefer to write a few posts a month, sit back and watch the search traffic roll in day after day - they buy stuff and click ads. Life is good.
Grizz, I have seen a big jump in both yahoo and live, mostly yahoo. I am now ranking for many of the same keywords as google in yahoo, which I wasnt before.
Hi Grizz,
Very interesting observation. Even for my WordPress blogs, I see minimal Yahoo trafic, but if it is like what you observed, I can only be happy! At least we don't have to be so Google dependant.
BTW, You are rubbing it in. For me at least, about the Google earnings. LOL!
And I'm sorry there was no mention of "Griz" or "free membership" in Vic's video. But there was a passing remark about "Costa" though. LMAO!
Good for your, Grizz! Your blog deserve a high ranking in the search engines. It is good to hear that Yahoo seems to change their algorithm so that blogspot is possible to rank high in their engine because I also prefer using blogspot.
Cheers
Andy
Ya, I don't have a blogger blog, but I have noticed an increase in Yahoo traffic over the past couple months. In fact, my site didn't receive any Yahoo traffic for over 2 years even though I have 50 to 100 top rankings in the big G. I love my msn/yahoo traffic though, it provides the best CTR by far probably due to the less than savvy clientele. Great post Grizz. Thanks.
My blogger blog has seen some recent traffic from Yahoo as well and it used to me non-existant. Thanks Yahoo!!
Grizz, thanks for the post. Your post about search traffic coming for yahoo site lightens up my day. My blog which is beginning to earn me a couple of bucks a day (adsense) has been sand-boxed by google. I am now getting zero visitors from google. The ironic thing about google is that they sand box me after promoting me to PR1 (previously no PR). Cruel! Since I've only been optimising for google and not for other search engine, i hope yahoo will start sending me some traffic until i get out from the sand box.
Hey Griz,
Which program/site do you use to collect/produce your blog stats? I use site meter and am wondering how you got that easy to read table of your search traffic that is in this post?
Also... My main blog has been indexed on google but down the very bottom from when I started it (2 months ago)... I have been following your lessons and done all that go articles stuff and one of my posts on go articles is listed on page 1 of google for my main term and is sending traffic to my actual blog, why hasn't that got me out of the sandbox and onto page 1?
Sorry Grizz,
My comment I made earlier didn't give you a clear question. I know we should not chase Social traffic for the various reasons you have pointed out.. lack
of conversion, not organic traffic etc.
If you will, please quickly define "chasing social traffic".
Remember, I am still fairly new to the blogosphere. I never followed any of the A listers.. I was fortunate enough to find your blog first when I wanted to make legit money online. I recognized you were the real deal. I looked at a couple others but thought they were crap. I guess you made too much sense to me.
Anyone else is welcome to explain this to me.. I know Grizz is also pretty busy.
Thanks,
-D
Anonymous,
I use statcounter and feedburner to collect most of the stats you see in the post.
There is no fast way out of the sandbox - just time. Keep posting and collecting links - they will let you out eventually provided you have a legit site.
Dennis,
By "chasing social traffic" I mean don't spend your time using Digg, Stumble upon, entrecard and all the other social networks. (twitter is for twits) The traffic this attracts is pure crap and a huge waste of your time. Get backlinks - lots of them and then go out and get even more backlinks.
Thanks for the clarification. The downside of not doing things wrong intially. Maybe I will head over and read some of the A listers and see what I have been missing.
I have noticed a rise in MSN/Live traffic over the past 2 weeks. Almost nothing from Yahoo yet though...
I find this really interesting that you have mentioned you are getting more Yahoo traffic and me (along with others) have noticed a rise in MSN/Live traffic.
Grizz,
About stuffing keywords into Meta tags. What do you mean by that? Can you give an example of excessively stuffing keywords? I have Courts sniper theme for my Wordpress niche blogs and I want to make sure I'm not killing myself when entering the keywords into the tags.
The reason you are seeing a spike in yahoo traffic is because Google and yahoo now have partnered up to shaft Bill gates and Microsoft. remember the failed take over bid for yahoo. Now yahoo is probably more likely to index blogger blogs because of this Kind of like a thank you for saving them from the clutches of Microsoft. which is good news for us blogger bloggers.
Griz,
Just my 2 cents. I've seen an increase on both MSN and Yahoo. Actually I find that my ebay sites perform much better on traffic from those two. I have several sites that got deindexed like many others in the .info crash but all those sites rank tops in msn/yahoo and convert much better than some I have ranking high in google.
My personal feeling is that more kids and Internet newbies use MSN and Yahoo. Those less tech savy people arent as familar with the google ads, affiliate ads, and other online money making options and tend to click on them more often.
Having been in the tech industry for 10 years I can tell you most new users find their way to yahoo, msn or aol before they ever get to google because of the software packages bundled with their computers when they first purchase them. Once they start using the others and are familar with them they often wont make the move to google.
Grizz , dont have many blogger blogs only a few , and those arent exactly made for Adsense per se, MSN Live has really picked up on my wordpress niches though, a really noticeable difference
Hey Grizz,
Very interesting post (as usual); I have a blogger movie blog that I created last spring for one of the big name actor's Summer movies that has ranked well (ie top three)for some good keywords on Yahoo since last May or June. Made me some decent adsense coin for a few months leading upto the movie's release. It also was ranking well on MSN then just dropped off the MSN map in like a day. Bizarre. I was very glad for the Yahoo traffic though because by May I was in the Google sandbox (it was one of my first blogs and first stabs at SEO - after stumbling across your site, lol) so I try not to think too much about the traffic I lost out on with the big G.
I am still buried in the google rankings with it but a mirror site I created a little while ago for the next film is loved by google, ranking on page two after just a couple short posts - time for a new post ... and a few more Backlinks...
Stephen
Maybe I will head over and read some of the A listers and see what I have been missing.
(In slow motion)
Nooooooooooo!
Hi Griz
Long time reader - first post.
Your observations are interesting because I have also noticed a good increase in Yahoo traffic over the past few weeks. However, I have to disagree with you about Yahoo being a crappy search engine. Far from it since you can at least get some decent results for whatever you may be searching for.
Google on the other hand seem to have lost the plot totally as far as relevant search results are concerned.
I was doing a bit of digging yesterday and it seems that Yahoo have taken a liking to Wordpress blogs, especially the tags, if you use them. On all of my Niche WP Adsense blogs, I have a plugin that goes off to Yahoo and picks out the relevant tags in relation to the article. I am of the opinion that since these tags come from Yahoo in the first place, they are also highly relevant in search as well and hence the reason for some good rankings in Yahoo search. My static xsitepro sites on the other hand do not do so well in Yahoo. No tags on those - just meta keywords.
Google seem to be systematically killing all my search rankings of late while at the same time increasing pagerank on the pages that are disappearing. I could be getting clobbered because of the links from BLS blogs. On the other hand, I have been doing a lot of article promotion over recent weeks via articlemarketer which may be resulting in too many backlinks coming in all at once. Who knows, but I for one am going to concentrate on Yahoo and MSN as I have wasted way too much time trying to keep Google happy which doesn't work anyway.
I have a siloed health themed site that was doing OK in Google up until last Wednesday/Thursday. Then for no obvious reason, traffic from G dropped dramatically. Reading over on Google Webmaster forum, it seems that I wasn't alone either.
Perhaps one day, Adsense and Search might just get it together. As it stands at the moment, if you follow good advice from adsense, Cutts and Co see that as something else and send you to the back of the class. If only they realised that without adsense and Google Affiliate Network (ex Doubleclick), they would be out of a job anyway. For a company that generates all of its income from advertising, they seem to have a strange way of working sometimes.
Alan
Well shoot Grizz man I mentioned you on others an in private chats with people just have not had time to shoot you an email please when you get some time check your email ;)
@ Dennis,
Very funny - see Fiar's comment!
@ Trackstar,
Is your name Usain Bolt by any chance? Lol.
It seems alot of people are seeing more MSN/Live traffic lately - not I though. hmmm....
Thai,
By stuffing I mean that they use the same words over and over...
ie. make money online, make money online with blogs, make money online with adsense, make money online with affiliate products.
The right way would be as follows,
Make money online with Blogs|Adsense|Affiliate Products
Only use the main keyword once and add the secondary terms one at a time.
Hope that makes sense to you.
@ Free Golfing,
I must admit that I have been remiss in keeping up with things during fishing season. Have you got any links for documentation about this? Thanks - it does make sense.
@ Gotafish,
I think you and Frank make a good point about the noobs using MSN, AOL and Yahoo. Must admit I had never thought about that previously. And they say you can't teach an old dog...
Thanks T.
@ Don,
Thanks and I'm going to have to figure out why MSN doesn't like me much. I don't think I've ever slammed Bill Gates...
@ Stephen,
Hmmm... wouldn't be anything to do with a dark (k)night would it?
@ Fiar,
You bugger! I spit my morning coffee all over my keypad...
@ Alan,
By crappy I mean they are ranking me for a ton of irrelevant terms at the moment - like "jerking off online for cash" (really) lol. I am not complaining but some of the terms are quite humorous.
Thanks for the tips - much appreciated and if I ever get serious about WP I will have to pay attention to the tags. What is the plug in called?
As for G it is apparent that they are weeding out publishers in order to keep the advertisers happy. How far they can push this before the publishers rebel will be interesting. Unfortunately they need advertisers more than publishers and make the majority of their money from the serp's as opposed to content ads.
Great comment Alan - please do it more often.
Vic,

I use Semiologic Pro for my WP sitebuilding and the plugin, called Autotag, is actually part of that package.
However, you can download from http://www.semiologic.com/software/publishing/autotag/
If you are right about Google weeding out publishers, I might just as well give up now and go find a JOB somewhere. For the returns I am getting vs the work involved in adsense publishing, it is hardly worth the effort anymore.
Do everything by the book and it still doesn't get you anywhere, or it seems that way sometimes.
Alan
I can say that I have seen a slight increase of Yahoo and MSN/Live search results on my WP blogs.
However I have seen a HUGE increase in serps listings on those two networks for my BANS sites. Some of my BANS sites are getting over 100 uniques per day and a couple are ranked 1 or 2 out of over 5 million results or better...simply amazing!
As for the Adsense income, I haven't noticed any problems with Yahoo or MSN/Live traffic causing any issues.
Griz, check your email from our last correspondence and let me know what you think...

lol Dark Knight? Oh no ... too much competition and work for those $.08 CPC adsense ads! lol! Besides (tip for any newbie)I'd rather focus on the actor OVER the movie - that way a blog is more reusable & gets a traffic wave everytime said actor is in the news or puts out a new movie.
Hi Griz,
To answer your question, no, I haven't seen an increase of Yahoo traffic to my blogger blogs. But Google seems to rock though, which is awesome.
Wanted to say hello and let you know I'm still alive and kicking. LOL. Great to see you are still rocking!
I had to laugh about your statement Twitter is for twits. perhaps that is why i haven't twittered in near two months and counting.
My hero. :-)
Big hugs
Monika
Alan,
Don't ditch Adsense quite yet. I'm working on a post that should explain why G's methods are beneficial to Adsense publishers that know what they are doing. Stay Tuned.
Elliot,
Have you got a copy - please re-send. My mail is so full it will take forever to find your last email. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks.
Stephen,
Good tip... you have caught on to how the game is played.
Monika,
How's my favorite Ozzie doing? Great to hear from you. I have meant to email you about my Friendz list. Shall I include you - we need more than just MMO niches. Thought I would ask first so please let me know. As for twitter - sheesh, can bloggers find more ways to waste their time? Lol.
Realy nice to hear from you Monika and I hope all is well down under.

Thanks for the thumbs up. Will keep an eye for your post.
Maybe I fall into the category of NOT knowing what I am doing. I should do, having been doing the Internet thing since 1996. In fact, it was only due to an email from John Reese (him of Traffic Secrets fame) that got me into registering my first domain and setting up a site at that time.
Just out of interest, I just did a check on Yahoo for this site and you have 2.190 pages indexed. Bet you didn't know you had that many pages!!. However, it looks as though each and every comment is indexed as a separate page. On top of that, you have the grand total of 14,255 inlinks as well.
Just thought you would like to know if you didn't already!.
Alan

Glad to be of service. More on topic, it's not a blogger site, but one of my niche sites ranks #1 in yahoo for my term and is sandboxed by google. Nowhere to be found. I suppose that means if and/or when it ever comes out of the box, life will be good.
Hi Grizz,
Like Stephen above, I've been experimenting with some movie blogs with growing success. Over the last few weeks mostly all my traffic comes from yahoo. In the beginning I was getting some trickle traffic from Google but now it seems my sites have fallen completely off Google's radar.
I have a question. Has anyone authenticated their sites with yahoo site explorer. It's kind of like verifying your site on Google's Webmaster Tools. Since I've done this, yahoo has started sending me more traffic. Do you think this is hurting me with Google?

I have authenticated all of my sites with Yahoo together with all the various feeds as well. Most of my sites are themed silo's with a WP front end and then individual content sites underneath that in sub directories. Yahoo will only accept the TLD name when you authenticate. However, they will let you submit the individual feeds from the various sites in the sub directories. Google do much the same thing in Webmaster tools although you submit sitemaps rather than feeds.
As I mentioned above, Google appear to have lost the plot as far as relevant search results are concerned. I have been doing a few test searches lately looking for information on various terms and the rubbish that is being returned is unbelievable. Results more often than not start off with Amazon, Ebay a god knows how many price comparison sites like shopzilla and epinions etc. On top of that, go half way down page one and more often than not, there is a block of listings called 'Shopping Results' or if not, a big blank space.
It seems to me whatever you do as far as Google are concerned will not be right. Damned if you do - damned if you don't.
It is quite ironic really since I and many others monetize our sites with Google Adsense and yet it is a rival search engine that provides the traffic. Only problem is that for the moment, more folks use Google than Yahoo for search.
Personally, I have started paying more attention to Yahoo, MSN and ASK, since my trust in Google went out the window a while ago.
At the end of the day, I class myself as an Adsense publisher while providing good relevant content for people looking for information on whatever the subject maybe. Google used to see it that way as well, but then all of sudden, somebody decides that information is surplus to requirements and out you go.
Alan
I have noticed the it is easier to jump to position 1 in Yahoo than in Google on a WP blog.
Google blogs I have had no luck with yet.
I found that very interesting how Goggle .. in a round about way .. knocks yahoo out by changing the structure of their algorithm and combining that with the purchase of the biggest blogger community .. For awhile I forgot Yahoo even existed. I've used Yahoo one whole time this year .. I was making sure their map system gave correct directions to my studio .. it was a block and a half off.
